Ingredients for 4 people:

1kg chicories
Toast or potatoes
250 gr carrots or tomatoes
200gr cook-hams
1 bunch parsley (hashed)
40gr meals
half quart milk
200 gr cheeses
Salt, peppers, nutmeg

Preparation of food:
Grease the baking dish, lay out with slices of toast or small slices of potatoes.
Cut in a half the chicory, remove the stem and layer the toast slices or potatos slices with the chicory.
Cut 250 g carrots or tomatos in cubes (depending of the season), cut the 200 g cooked ham as well in cubes and put it to the carrots, or tomatos with the cooked ham over the chicory.
Hackle now the parsley and sprinkle them over the cooked ham.
Now melt 40 g of butter in a pot and dust the butter with the flour let it lightly sautée now deglaze it with the milk and boil up spice the sauce up with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Put the sauce over the casserole, at last put the cheese over the sauce and heat up the oven (180 °C / 355 °F).
Put the casserole in the middle of the oven and bake them for about 45 minutes.
